Hello and welcome to Capture Our Day Wedding and Portrait Photography. I have been a professional photographer for quite a few years now and I’m very well known for my landscape photography work but not as well known for my portrait photography, wedding photography and commercial photography. Although this is not the area of photography that I have spent most of my time pursuing in the past, I take great pride in delivering beautiful family photos and high-quality commercial images for my clients. My interest in portrait photography is was first sparked by my passion to take beautiful photos of my own children, it wasn’t until much later in my photography journey that I found that I had such a passion for landscape photography. You can see some samples of my work on the portfolio page.

The cost’s for my portrait services are listed just below. You will see that I have laid out some nice package deals to help make it easier for you and you can also save up to $600 off the standard pricing by taking advantage of the packages that I have created. I can also tailor a package specifically for you, I am here to create a great family experience.

Some Helpful Details

It’s an easy process and it’s as simple as making a phone call or click the ‘Book Now’ button and fill in all of your details on the form and we’ll be in touch within 24hrs. From there we’ll organise a time and place for the shoot as well as discuss the details and requirements of the shoot. We try to keep things fun and casual on the day, we’rel all about creating beautiful moments that we can capture in a photograph forever.

As previously stated, it’s very easy to make a booking. You can simply give us a call and we can handle the booking right there and then, or you can click on the ‘Book Now’ button below and fill out all of the relevant details and we’ll be in touch within 24hrs. Once all of the details for the shoot have been confirmed, a deposit of $195 is payable to secure your booking.

Where we shoot is really up to you, we can shoot at your favourite beach, at the local park or in your backyard. These days I find that heading outside to where people are most comfortable is generally the best way to go. I find that when people are comfortable in their surroundings it comes out in their smiles and the photos always look better. If there is somewhere special that you would like you photos taken, just let us know and we’ll work with you to make it happen.

What you wear on the day is an import thing to consider. You want your photos to look great for many years to come. It’s important to be comfortable in what you wear but you don’t want your clothing to stand out more than you do.

::   It’s best if your kids are not wearing  tops with logos, they can be quite distracting
::   Stripes are another thing to avoid if at all possible
::   Colours that are to bold or vibrant can also be distract
::   Fad styles that may date quickly can make you photos look out of date very soon
::   Keep you clothing simple, but it should also be true to who you are
::   Sometimes its a nice idea to bring one or 2 changes of clothing, particularly for children

You can take a look at our standard price list to the right. For those clients that don’t want to purchase one of the package deals or they would like to build their own package, you can use the price list to work out the cost of your purchase. We have a range of Products on offer and we have more on the way. If there is something that you are looking for but do not see it on the list, just get in touch and we’ll do our very best to help you out.
You can also decide to purchase a USB with unto 15-20 High Resolution files and Web sized files of your shoot. You can use these files to produce high quality prints at a later date. The USB cost is $395
